Pharmacy Business Partner

A central strategic role is offered to support our long term growth. 

 To support the next stage of our expansion, we have a rare and exciting career opportunity for a commercially astute business partner. This is a “hands on” role and is only suitable for individuals with clear evidence of successful experiences and initiatives in multi-site management.  Pharmacists or non-pharmacists may apply. Knowledge and experience of Primary Care NHS commissioning is an advantage.

 Your key remit will be to work alongside the Managing Director and to identify opportunities to grow our branch estate and implement the company’s processes across our network.  

As an excellent leader and effective communicator you will manage relationships both internally with branch managers and head office as well as externally with business associates and community leaders.

 You will also work alongside our Group Operations Manager to lead, support and develop colleagues to maximise NHS items, over the counter sales, income from services and profitability of the branches. Projecting a positive and professional image of the company at all times, you will promote high dispensary, retail and housekeeping standards, in compliance with company policies and procedures.

 The successful individual will possess administration, numeracy and organisation skills to plan, monitor and achieve budgets, prepare monthly reports and chair meetings.

 You must be a car owner and live within daily commuting distance of our base in Weymouth, Dorset.

Pre-Registration Trainee Remuneration & Benefits Package £18,000 (pro-rata)
Four weeks holiday entitlement + Bank Holidays
40 hour working week
2 Days exam leave
10 days Cross Sector hospital work placement (provided the local hospital continue to offer this)
Study time by arrangement with your tutor.
CPPE training evenings (Approx 6-8 per year)
PCT Training/other evening meetings (Approx 6-8 per year)
NPA Pre-registration Pharmacist training course

Salary to be the average paid by local branches of Boots, Lloyds and Rowlands pharmacies to newly qualified pharmacists.
